This is a film that I have used as part of research for my Contextual essay.

It is a B&W film, made in 1943, directed by Jacques Tourneur and stars the actors Frances Dee and Tom Conway

Branding

Looking at other products of the similar design as mine, I have researched that to make it look more authentic, I will add some recycle and other branding text and images on the mailer box.

BLOG UPDATE ! ! !

Ok. I have not been using Blogger to its full potential. I am not really a social network person, and don't revolve myself around Internet websites to explain what I am constantly doing and letting everyone aware of this.

I know this Blogger account, is trying to describe what I am doing, as a student of Wolverhampton University - BUT - a big but, I mainly remind myself to do the actual physical work that is given to us. Week by week, as a student we are given work to produce and to show next week. Having other modules makes blogging simply hard.

...I shouldn't think about other students who have posted on their blog constantly, and time sufficiently, when the work is given, because everyone is different.

I really like Blogger, the more and more times I use it. It's easy, and quite fun to express and tell people what I have been doing.

Here's a promise to keep updating my Blogger constantly! *crosses fingers and toes*

So, I have finally done my editorial piece! It's not the best and it's not the worst either!

I have actually spent a lot of time of this, and I like the final outcome. I have tried to use a lot of ideas from research and my own knowledge of what it could look like.

I have been subscribed to a magazine called STATUS for quite a while now. I have to say, its ones of the best magazines I read.

It is SO creative and the layouts are truly magical. These are a few screen shots I have taken, from an online article I have been reading.

In Editorial, I have to choose a certain topic that explains the current situation in Wolverhampton. I have chosen "UNEMPLOYMENT".

What are we doing?

...I have been given a few modules that all interact with each other, around once singular topic.

"WOLVERHAMPTON". This is the city I live in, study, work...basically everything. I was born in a town, called Bilston, which is a connecting town with Wolverhampton. Being so used to the city, will help me gain a higher understanding on the revolving issues that it contains.

I have created a few spider diagrams around this subject.
